Actually I am writing this message from Osaka, Japan. Ale-tan is my second ferret.. My first ferret lived for approx. 9 years and got Insulinoma in her last years. I let her die by an euthanasia and it became one of my most painful memories.
After that, I thought I will never ever own ferrets again! But... after two years, I found her, Ale-tan...
I became so scared when I heard that I am facing another one's death. But, this time, I won't let her die like this.
I have decided to go to see a different vet some time this week to get a second opinion, and will explain what I got from this web site to the vet.
Currently Ale-tan has been doing very fine, and eating a lot every day. I give her a little bit of Agaricus every day in addition to the current medication since the current vet approved it.
After a visit to the second vet, I will update you how it goes.
I hope she lives longer...
