I have eight myself and each one is a joy and each one has its own
personality and I would not have it any other way.
I have two that I took in that had never been with its own kind, Gabby got
his name because when I turned him loose for the first time he would not shut up
for two days, I believe he was introducing himself to the others and telling
them all about his life, now he does not say anything unless it is play time.
I have them trained to a sound I make whereas they all come running (unless
of course they are in their deep sleep mode) except for Boo my deaf DEW.
If I was only allowed one it would be tough. Two to me is better as they do
play with each other and sometimes we as dads and moms don't have time to play
when they want.
The bottom line is what you want, each of us are different but if it was me I
would opt for two. A little more litter box training but well worth it I
believe
