Years ago I had a little girl with insulinoma and she would paw at her mouth any time she tried to drink water. Back then I didnt know what she had neither did the vet's she went to. I used to put some karo syrup in her water so she would drink it. Now I know she had insulinoma and the karo syrup probobly wasnt a good idea that often. Another little boy I had would paw at his mouth as soon as we walked through the vet's front door. I dont know for sure what he had, I was told it was lymphoma. I think I read somewhere that it is a sign of insulinoma.
