This is one of the hardest decision to make. It is one I hope I would never
have to make, but unfortunately I have. When Sidney passed away last Aug.
2004. There were many on times I wondered if I should help her cross, she would
look so lifeless, but as soon as I thought it she would show a glimmer of
hope. I hung on to that hope as long as I could. You know your ferret better then
anyone. If she is in pain and lot of discomfort then that may be something
to consider, but she could just be tired and worn out. Ferrets are tough
little guys. Take your time and enjoy every moment you have with your little
ferret. Go with your heart, and she will let you know when she is ready, you just
have to listen.
