Well, we took him into the vet this morning, and I just picked him up a
little bit ago. He seemed much happier when I picked him up tonight. =

Probably because he had something in his tummy. He didn't have a problem
with vomiting at the vet's office today probably because of what they've
been feeding him. They gave him A/D mixed with water through a syringe. H=
e
did pretty well today with that as he's actually taking it fairly well
without too much of a fight, and it's probably easier on his stomach. I'm
going to feed this to him for a little while until he starts back to eating=

his regular kibble on his own. I'll also be giving him his prednisone
tablets crushed up in his morning feedings as well. Hopefully now that he'=
s
getting nutrition, this will be a turning point, and I"ll be able to nurse
him back to complete health.

No, it's not normal. I've done post-op care after 10
adrenal surgeries for my ferrets past and present plus
a couple for friends. I have never seen that problem.

I know you've had other responses. My number one gut
reaction is that this ferret needs to go back to the
vet ASAP to find out *why*.
