This sounds like a ferret-adapted strain of CDV is coming from the vax itself (though if it is localized perhaps they simply were infected before they were innoculated).
Is this a live virus vaccine?
Please, have her check on the name of the vaccine; even varients on the name are not coming up on Google searches.
