Hi, Julie,
In Lady Ayeka the main sign was chronic diarrhea that
none of the usual medications would get under control.
We tried clavamox and metranidazole (flagyl) with no
results. Tylan helped a little but not enough.
Yogurt as a probiotic didn't help either. She also
lost some weight. Our new (Ohio) vet told me that
this sort of lymphoma causes malabsorption which in
turn causes the diarrhea.
At the time Ayeka was showing signs of adrenal disease
and needed insulinoma surgery as well so our vet had
an opportunity to take a look and do a biopsy. That's
how we got a definitive diagnosis.
As this is my first experience with lymphoma in the GI
tract I can't really give a lot of good info, sorry.
