They may work out better when they are more evenly matched but meantime put them together only when the older one is very sleepy, preferably both in the person's arms. Be careful to give extra loving attention to the older one so that the older one does not feel displaced or neglected. Give the older one at least one well-loved treat only while he is touching the younger one gently (Have an unbreakable saucer (over a floor which can be spilled on or a towel covered lap.). Trade thier sleeping blankets back and forth so that they share scents.
