The other suggestions sound great for reintroduction of food and I will only add the
following: I found that now my little ferret is eating dry food after only about a
month of being picky but I found that I had to change her crunchy dry food much
for often. She will not eat the food now if it is old, even if that is only a little more
than a day. I found that I have to put food in a small dish, like a small 3 ounce
custard dish or similar one like sauce comes in from Outback. The bowl has to be
cleaned every day and I have found the right amount so she can finish most and
throw away is therefore kept to a minimum. I have also started buying a smaller
bag of her food so it doesn't sit around as long.
