We have used Torb long term in terminal ferrets with excellent results. For one who had lymphoma in her spinal cord (and both urinary and fecal incontinence during her last many months) Torb and steroids gave her a long time of quality life with great happiness. (This was Meeteetse who loved the voice of Richard Harris of NPR to the point where she would kiss the speakers when he was on (and when young would climb the furniture and books to get up there to bestow the kisses), so the folks there also followed her life.)
