Has an ultrasound been done? EKG? Has his esophagus been checked for megaE? (I ask about the later because esophageal problems can inflame the neighboring trachea. Certainly, trachiitis is possible and that can cause acute attacks in humans which can become very compromising so perhaps also can in ferrets.
