I agree with Sukie that Addison's is unlikely. If the
other adrenal gland had atrophied Addisonian symptoms
would have shown up within a few days of surgery and
would have almost certainly led to a Crisis if
untreated. For it to be merely "insufficient" is
something I haven't heard of, but then again I am not
a vet,

I agree. In your position I'd ask our vet to start
with blood work to check insulinoma and, considering
your concerns, electrolytes. A full CBC and chem
panel would probably be a good idea as well as it may
help with diagnosis.
