I had to do the same with Boo. It took a long time for me to figure out that my vet didn't have a clue about ferrets. When Boo was really bad, I blamed myself for him suffering so. Now, I do the same..drive an hour-sometimes two in traffic to get to my ferret vet. She is amazing and calls to see how Boo and the others are almost every week without fail. Glad I could give you that article to read. Just remember, blessings come in all sizes.

Hi Scott. If the intermittent, unexplained vomiting continues you may
want to have the vet do an barium x-ray of his esophagus to explore the
possibility of megaesophagus. It is somewhat uncommon but I've seen a few
cases and have been through it myself.
