DO NOT DO THIS unless your vet left some adrenal
tissue in. PLEASE look in the archives for references
to Addison's Disease and Addisonian Crisis. Ferrets
that have had both glands removed need
supplementation, generally
prednisone/pediapred/prednisolone and
florinef/fludrocortisone. Another possibility is
percoten.

Surgically induced Addison's Disease would start as
lethargy and loss of appetite. Next would be
difficulty controlling body temp and shivering. You
DON'T want to go beyond that because it quickly
becomes life threatening.

Make sure you consult with your vet and make sure what
you are doing is safe for Kiki.
