Reads like it might be a prolapsed rectum. If you cannot get to a vet
straight away an old trick is to shrink it with sugar and gently push it
back in. Do not let the ferret lick the sugar. The sugar draws moisture
out and acts as an antibiotic. This is an old farmers trick but I've
never tried it an a ferret. Chris
