>From reading the breeder's notes, it appears he was placed with two more females after they self-removed the growth. Whether the breeding took or not, I'm not sure. Considering they were just hacking stuff off, I doubt they even realized/cared that it might be a cancerous mass.

However, I believe the breeder surrendered all of the whole ferrets so (s)he is now out of the breeding business......forever, I hope. I have 3 of the retired breeders and they all have their own sets of health problems.
