I am not a vet. My favorite treatment for critters on ferrets is
Revolution. It kills fleas, ticks, ear mites, sarcoptic mange mites,
several kinds of internal worms and prevents heartworm disease. You have
to get it from your vet. Ask them to give you a 1 ml syringe and a 1.5in
needle. Normally you dose with it monthly, but with earmites I like to
dose every two weeks. Pop the tube open in the normal way and insert the
needle thru the hole that makes and draw up 0.2ml per pound of ferret.
Remove the needle and squirt the Revolution on the skin at the back of
the neck. After giving 3 doses you can go back to dosing once a month.
It's a lot easier than trying to get them with ear drops.
