Indeed I believe it just may be. I am aware of one person who had a 6 mo MF kit
which was in and out of the vets for the entire time she owned it with health
problems it dies and they found an abdominal teratoma inside ... I forget the exact
location. At the time the vets were convinced the young ferret was pregnant and the
spay was not complete.

Later I had to explain about teratomas to the owners and try to convince them it was
the case rather than pregnancy in a 6 mo spayed ferret!
