When our vet removed Hobbes left adrenal, it was sent out for a
biopsy.

On the report, there was one paragraph that my vet did not fully
understand and I am hoping someone on FML or ferret health list can
help.

I will type the paragraph verbatim:

COMMENTS - There is one nodule of hyperplasia in one of the sections.
The predominant lesion is that of lymphocytic adrenalitis. This
is an unusual lesion and is uncommon in the ferret. There is no
evidence of neoplasia in the sections examined. The inflammation
likely lead to adrenal insufficiency, but the underlying cause of
this unusual lesion is unknown.

Thanks in advance for your help!
