My little guy had the same problems but not pawing at the mouth. My vet believes
it could possibly be ulcers but his spleen is enlarged also. The spleen she wants to
wait and see what happens but she gave me carafate for his stomach and it was
amazing to see the difference. He is still under weight but you can tell he feels so
much better.
