Refer to the intial post: no symptoms, infection found on culture. He was fine one day, had a lump on/just below his jaw the next. Despite being adrenal, insulinomic, and having gastric ulcers when taken in during November he steadily gained weight. Charlie has been a trooper taking whatever meds I've thrown at him without fuss. Unfortunately I think the pred is what allowed the cryptococcosis to take hold. Damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. With a bg of 40 he wouldn't have survived long without pred. Right now, he's happily taking his soup with ketoconazole added to it.
