Granted, species differ (and there are two veterinary poisoning hotlines which can be found in the FHL Archives) but hair/fur loss does not seem to be included in bleach poisoning symptoms:

I would suspect that if there was enough contact to "burn" the fur off then the bleach also would have caused some skin damage and would have been licked at causing mouth and GI and respiratory burning, but that is just a guess.

Some ferrets with adrenal neoplasia do regrow fur when they get more complete darkness or when they hit a shedding/fur-regrowth period, but then they lose it again later. More darkness can help reduce other symptoms, too, as can melatonin or Lupron. Sometimes a secondary vaginal infection can happen with ones who have enlarged vulvas from adrenal neoplasia and those can reduce some antibiotic use (We had one like that.) but then return if our's was typical.
