I've been giving him about 30 cc's every 5hrs. His tummy is so fat that he slides on
the hardwood floors and his belly drags in the pee when he goes. So it's definitely
time to get serious.

His normal weight before the illness was 3.8 lbs. He tries to play, but usually rolls
on his back (he's pretty rollie-pollie right now) and plays like that. So given the
normal 3.8 lbs weight, the 30 cc's every 5 hrs is good??

Thanks. :o)

I have had no problems with a "4 times a day" feeding schedule for ferrets that won't
eat on their own, even ferrets with insulinoma. Of course those were also on pred.
That's roughly every 6 hours, give or take. 8 hours is probably a little bit long
