BTW, what type of litter are you using? If clay or clumping litter try switching to the much safer ones like Yesterday's News.

Sometimes moistening the food seems to help, especially at early stages of permanent dental eruption and always be sure to have lots of easily accessibly water.

Hi,

It sounds to me like your little guy has a sebhorric rash....I know I'm off
on the spelling but the vets and moms out there probably know what I mean.

It's a burn caused from feces or urine on delicate skin. My oldest son got
them when I wasn't real careful with cloth diapers. Anyway, Desitin and air
usually cleared the problem up on them. I DON'T KNOW IS DESITIN IS SAFE FOR
FERRETS so check w/ a vet before you try this!
