I had a persian cat about 20 years ago who got bladder crystals. The vet said it was from the food we were feeding him (cheap cat food). Could that be the case with ferrets & crystals.. I'm not sure, but maybe it's worth asking your vet about. We had no idea that cheaper food (insert popular name brand here) would do this, but aparently it does.. in cats anyway.
