I wrote about my ferret Luke (age 5) a few days ago- but the message was about his ripping out his stitches from his exploratory surgery Mon Jan 24.
When the vet did the surgery he took out the left adreanal gland and debulked the right gland. The vet said when he did the exploratory everything else looked really good. This morning the Vet called--the lab work came back today- the left was not malignant but the right adrenal gland is malignant. Do the malignant right ones always spread?? How long could he live if it does spread or if it doesn't? Any information anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Debra
PS Yesterday his sutures were redone (yup no matter what I did to restrain him he did manage to rip almost all of them out- he is ill but he is still a wild child and now he is wrapped like a sausage roll
