Thank you Mike, Patty, Tara, Caity, and everyone!

I took my Ale-tan to a different vet after that, and the new vet did a thorough examination on her. As the result, it was not lymphoma! I greatly appreciate your help to save my ferret!.

I had gathered the necessary information to find a good vet in Osaka area, and decided to visit a well-known vet in exotic animals on January 19th, 2005. Ale-tan got a detailed examination including a barium X-ray, palpation, and some blood examinations by the new vet. As the result, the vet said Lymphoma is still possible, however, Ale-tan can start with the medication for inflammation of the stomach since she was having stomach, intestine and liver troubles.

Then the new medication worked very well for her! Her vomiting and explosive diarrhea stopped.
During the next week, Ale-tan stayed on Amoxicillin and Ulcerlmin (sucralfate?). Actually, she became very inactive as soon as she stopped using the previous medication. But the vet told me it was because of possible side effects of Steroids prescribed by the previous vet. I became so worried about her condition, and I took her to the vet twice for an intravenous drip injection.

By the end of the week, Ale-tan became very active and started to jump around in the house again!! No words could express my happiness! On January 29th, I took her to the vet again for a checkup examination. As the result of the blood check, GPT and ALP were still slightly higher (but dropped by half) but no problem for the rest of the check items. Since Ale-tan has been recovering so well and having no more vomit or awful diarrhea, the vet said it was not Lymphoma! The vet told me that it could be something as simple as a infection in her stomach. Her diarrhea stopped completely and I find beautiful poops in her cage when I come home from work everyday!

Ale-tan will stay on the current medication one more week, and we will go to see the vet for a checkup again.
She is currently in perfect condition! Her sparkling eyes came back, and I truly appreciate your support! My healthy beautiful Ale-tan is back again!

Again, thank you very much. I promise I will take good care of her for the rest of my life!
