There is no substitute for veterinary care. At the age of 7 years I'd
assume that she is going to the vet every six months, anyway, for her
check-ups, vax, etc. but it would be good to make another appointment
now so that the vet
can see what she has (hematoma, mast cell tumor, etc.). BTW, unlike
dogs mast cell tumors are virtually never serious in ferrets.

Now, what is done to protect her from getting overheated, what is done
for mental stimulation and interaction, etc.
