Paul,

I agree w/ Sukie. There's got to be a reason for her losing wt. and it COULD be just as simple as her having intestinal parasites (since she's eating mice and things). Then again it could be many other things (the typical lympho, insulinoma, adrenal, liver or kidney disease). I would bring Phoebe to the vet along w/ a fresh stool sample and at least have bloods done to see whats going on. (also to see whats up w/ the ear)

One other thing I would suggest might be to find a place for her that mice won't get into her house. She needs a comfortable, stable environment so she won't be stressed. (ie: bitten, sick from a bite etc..)She should also be monitored to make sure she is eating and drinking. Sometimes older ferrets don't make the effort to go to the bowl as often, ESPECIALLY when they don't feel well.
