Funny..I was just thinking about the same thing the other day. Boo came to me with a thick nail on one of his feet. We've noticed it doesn't look like he has sensation in that nail cause it's real thick,wide and very different in texture than say his other nails. I just thought maybe he had a past problem. Plus, he's over 7 yrs old now. But, the other morning I was giving (what we humorously call)"Beauty School" to the five rascals and I noticed Shasta is starting to get a little thicker and wider nail on the same foot. She is 4 1/2 yrs. and in perfect health. I trim their nails religously so I didn't know if it was diet related or just a random thing. Good to know I am not the only one!
