Hello all,
I've been trying to search the archives, but may not be searching correctly=
because I am not finding much results. =
Boo has a tumor in his liver that the vet found during the adrenal surgery =
in Sept. 2004. She biopsied at the time and found it to be benign. He's on =
the pediapred 0.4cc q12hr, cefadroxil 0.25cc q12hr, 30cc's sub-q fluids dai=
ly, meals q4hrs. We've tried to wean him off the cefadrops off and on since=
his surgery. But seems, every time we do his belly swells up like a balloon=
. So, the vet says to go ahead and keep him on. Well, now his belly's swell=
ing again. I wonder if we'll have to up the dose of the antibiotic to help =
him. Does anyone know if tumors in the liver can be removed or is it too ri=
sky? Boo isn't showing pain sx. He just looks like a little heffer trying t=
o get around! It's more than just the "pred belly" that he had before. Plea=
se, can someone give me suggestions or explain what I should talk to my vet=
about in the next visit or what questions to ask? We had an ultrasound don=
e a few months ago that showed the growth of the tumor. Any explinations an=
d advice is appreciated. =
