The vet may try a different vax. It will depend on the individual. Usually through the decades when we have had one who reacted we tried a different vaccine. For three of them there wound up being other vaccines they reacted to, probably due to the reaction being from something similar in the matrix. We stopped vaccinating any individuals who reaced to more than one vaccine. Here one reacted to both Galaxy anf Fervac andtwo reacted to both Fervac and IMRAB 3. Luckily, those who react are in the minority.
In this particular case it sure sounds like a bad batch of vaccine and I am so glad that all have survived.
