In trying to find the manufacturers of these drugs to help them be located I noticed that what appear to be the brand names for one:
Rheumatrex, Trexal
have blood thinning properties.
I am really tired tonight and know that I will need to search more tomorrow, but if these act that way is there a chance that they may also have a use in reducing thromboses in ferrets who are prone to them? We've had two ferrets who threw such clots: one who had cardiomypathy with ventricular bigemini and one with kidney disease. Neither tolerated the anticoagulants available to them, so I am just curious. but am also half asleep so not usre if my brain is really working right now.
