Update on Boo:
Well...never mind the flagyl/baytril! I refuse anymore to put Boo and myself through it!!!!!!!!!
As of last night, the middle of the night and this morning he's running from me every time he just sees me come in the room.
If I bring food (no meds whatsoever) he wasn't eating it. I just can't have that. Not with his insulinoma. So, I called the vet told her I refuse to give this stuff anymore and told her to figure out what she wants to use otherwise and that was that. He does fine with his pred cause I add to his food.
This morning it took over an hour and a half for him to not freak out and actually eat some food from the babyfood jar and my spoon. He's older and I want his last days to be good and as stress free as possible. It doens't seem worth it for him to be afraid of me, his mommy. We're changing back to cefadroxil. Vet said after a few days weaned from an antibiotic, once starting up again could act brand new again for patients that seem to develop an immunity to it.
Thanks to everyone for your help with Boo
