Thank you for your advice, Sukie! I did call the pharmacy and the pharmacist I spoke to said not to microwave prednisolone or cefadroxil. She said it's hard for vets to get that deep in to researching exact cause and effects of microwaving certain meds,but that it probably breaks down the molecular structure of certain meds. So, with that I did not probe further, I won't do it! I don't know how many others that post here have babies on prednisolone or pred. or even the antibiotic cefadroxil. I Hope this info helps you. I can't speak for any other medications, I'd call your pharmacist and speak to them!
