Since I've stopped using the two meds,I am still having a heck of a time to get Boo to trust me. He's not had any insulin attacks in the past few days, but I can't get him to trust me with food. Even just the babyfood, he's not eating as much as he did. He will take a few licks and run away. I have to chase him and stick it under his nose to keep getting random licks. This lasts about an hour each time. So, needless to say yesterday and today have been mostly consumed by trying to get him to eat.
Today I am still working on the same jar of babyfood and there's still about a half a jar left. I started working on him at 7am. He's not acting weak or lethargic, more like very mad and huffy at me. It really scares me because of his blood sugar issues. I've been trying to get in there more frequently to get him to finish his food, but I"m afraid of what happens tomorrow when I have to be gone at work all day?? Does anyone have any suggestions to get him to trust food again?
