Don't beat yourself up. We all try to do the best thing/the right thing at
the time decisions are made. I am sure you have done the same.
As lightning generally doesn't strike twice in the same place, your idea of
having 2 bottles is a fine one indeed. It is in that fashion if one spills,
breaks, clogs or otherwise becomes inoperative, hopefully the other one will
work.
My little Blizzard has me trained as even though he has 2 bottles, he will
walk up 3 flights of stairs, wake me up and have me pick him up and give him
the very freshest of water from the sink!! I guess this defines our
relationship. I am his pet!!
