Hi Michelle,
I have a DIM survivor (despite what another individual may say about it). It has been confirmed by my vets and Dr. Ramsell & Dr. Willaims both have her history. I will be happy to give you the details on the supportive care I gave my ferret. She is still alive. I think that the combination of catching the symptoms from the very beginning and getting her on massive antibiotics immediately saved her from dying from any kind of secondary infection. Please remember that I am NOT a vet, just a ferret mom, but as a devoted fuzzy lover I will offer any support I can to you.
