Does your vet think that an ultrasound guided needle biopsy would be possible, or is what is needed too small or hard to find to pinpoint that way? Our vet has done that for one who was not well enough for a full biopsy surgery.
Could you get a copy of the patholgy report test and type it onto a post (Do not try as an attachment because that will not work.). Leave out names and such that identify the vet, hospital, or pathologists, of course, since the case is under discussion.
