Subject: lupron to end heat cycle?

I just acquired a little female purchased from a private breeder by
her previous owner. The owner was told she was neither spayed or
descented. The not descented is not a big issue as she doesn't smell
all that different than the rest of the crew except when she is
frightened or mad. The spay on the other hand is.

She is displaying symptoms of being in season, aggressive play,
dominance, swollen vulva, etc. I will eventually have her spayed, but
at this moment I am still paying off a nearly $1000 vet bill from an
emergency surgery/care.

I have read that lupron injections will end the heat cycle.

Some of my old folks currently get various amounts of lupron for
their adrenal (not surgical candidates, health complications). It is
the 30 day depot and we are giving increments of 100mcg shots.

My questions is how much lupron for this little girl? Or is there a
better medication one of our vets might recommend?

Thanks for all of your(s) insights.
