To Anyone who can help,

I have a 4 year old male ferret who had adrenal gland surgery (right adrenal gland) and was also diagnosed with IBD six weeks ago and seemed to be doing fine. Within the past 2 week he has become anemic with PCV test fluctuating between 17 to 28 (it moves up and down). After having an ultrasound the doctor found he has mild HCM (with no back flow of blood) and blood around his lungs and in his abdomen. He has labored breathing, very week and gets a bruse on his belly around his pubis area (clears up then appears again).
After several tests the it appears that he is not internally
clotting and he has been started on Vitamin K. His blood panel/cbc and bone marrow samples did not show any signs of autoimmune diseases or cancers. Has anyone come across something like this where there is internal bleeding in the chest and abdomen?

He is also on 1cc of Pediapred twice a day and 3 mg of Vitamin K.
