When is a question that is very difficult for someone else to answer. I've always tried to be the wise old sage when someone asks that question, then when it's one of my own, I have the same doubts and questions. Ferrets don't fear death or wish for one more day when they're terminally ill, it's always our own feelings that get in the way of letting them go when it is time. All I can say is, don't allow Puff to suffer. She wouldn't want that just to stay one more day and I know you wouldn't want that for her.
