I have a 3 year old male "Bob" who was diagnosed with insulinoma 1.5 yrs ago. He had one surgery Dec 2003 and a second June 2004. I dont plan on putting him through another surgery. He seems to be doing ok I feed him Duck soup 3 times at least per day. I come home everyday on my 1/2 hour lunch break to make sure he eats and has him pred dose. I have been reading about Insulinoma ferrets crashing and I am not sure what I should be looking for. Is it possible that Bob is in some kind of remission? He doesnt seem to be getting any worse. He gets a little spaced out once in a while. When he does I just give him some soup. He is a little over weight but he isnt having any kind of episodes that Ive heard about. I deffinately would freak if he had a seizure. Is that what will eventually happen ?
