Do NOT wait until the seizure ends to give sugar. The whole idea of giving sugar is to raise their blood sugar to bring them out of a hypoglycemic episode.

Of course you don't want to try to force any liquid on her when she can't swallow, but karo or honey should be rubbed on her gums as soon as you are aware she's in trouble.
