Speaking of insulinoma, I have a question about my ferret Buddy. He'll be 5
in May....he had 2 seizures ever last May. I took him to the vets he was
put on prednisone (2.5mg a day). We split the medication up to give him some
in the morning and then in the evening. I started giving him and the other
two ferrets duck soup twice a day. Since last May he has not had any more
seizures (that I know of, and I'm always home). Lately I've noticed him
having a little hair loss...I'm hoping that it's due to shedding...his tail
does not have much hair on it now and the tail is darker in color compared
to his skin. Could this be related to his medication, age, or his
insulinoma? He's still playful but tires more easily than our other two
young ones.
