That is a very tough call. If it is lympho for instance it's not going to help. On the other hand it might be a type of growth which could respond and at least it might be possible to reduce some of the symptoms. My inclination if this one joined our household would be to try a large Lupron shot AND a melatonin implant to try to give the best possible quality of life while knowing that it might or might not improve quantity of life. I also think I would have a vet equaluation at least once a month especially since this is a male and prostate enlargement and resultant blockage is a risk, as well as for the other risks.
