James, you need a barium x-ray. It sounds to me like a blockage and most
blockages are made of stuff that just doesn't show on a regular x-ray.
Go back to your vet immediately and ask for the barium x-ray. Inthe mean
time give him a half teaspoon of Vaseline with some ferretone mixed in
for flavor and repeat every hour for several doses until you can get the
barium x-ray. DO NOT wait for this because a blockage WILL kill him. I'm
not a Vet,just a long term owner with some experience with blockages.
