Hi,
Ferrets do not bleed when they are in heat the clear or some times yellow discharge
is normal. You should of had her spayed before she came in to heat and her vulva
be came swollen. For her safety she should be taken out of heat before you get her
spayed. She can be taken out of heat be the use of a V-hob (breed her with him) or
an injection of a hormone called HCG. They will need to give her a shot of this
hormone if by 2 weeks the swelling has not gone down they will need to give her
the shot again the 2nd one will bring her out of heat if it does not then there is
some thing else going on with her. Once she is out of heat get her spayed ASAP.
Sandy
