Hello Everyone,

My ferret was getting 1.0 ml of prednisone (5mg/5ml) 2 times daily.

Just recently I decided not to refill the prescription generically, but to get the "good
stuff" - the Pediapred. The bottle says it is a 6.7mg/5ml solution. I called the
pharmacist who filled it (I was in a huff, I will admit) and was told the 'active
ingrediant' in the Pediapred is at a concentration of 5mg/5ml.

Not particularily believing him, I called my vet....and below is her reply.

Your line was busy so thought I would send you an email about your

Information? Please??? Thank you so much.
