Just recently I decided not to refill the prescription generically, but to =
get the "good
stuff" - the Pediapred. The bottle says it is a 6.7mg/5ml solution. I calle=
d the
pharmacist who filled it and was told the 'active
ingrediant' in the Pediapred is at a concentration of 5mg/5ml.
Not particularily believing him, I called my vet who said the same thing. N=
ow, while I do believe her, I just wanted another opinion, and indeed got a=
number of them-all saying the same thing.
Thank you so very much to all who replied to my question about Pediapred. I=
now understand (and more importantly believe) that the Pediapred is the sa=
me as the generic and will continue to dose my Sprout with the same amount =
as before.
